Hi everyone :) This is Team Indonesia of Sayul Korea Club.

Today our team will talk about 'The SDGs linked to Indonesia’s public diplomacy'.

Especially about the Indonesia's enterpreneur who effect on SDGs.


1. Indonesia meet a creative enterprise

Six emerging creative companies in Indonesia and their public diplomatic activities with Korean social entrepreneurs have met with Indonesian companies that solve various social problems.


2. Muhammad Rook (General responsibility for design)

Batik Fractal, run by Pixel Indonesia, has developed software that can design unlimited batik patterns to solve the problem of design slump in the batik industry based on Bandung, Indonesia.


3. Harry Mawai (Amygdala Bamboo , CEO)

Development of various and modern bamboo handicrafts using spiral techniques used by craftsmen to solve the economic downturn in Indonesia’s Slauawi region, which used bamboo cage production as its main source of income.


4. Messley Modok (Keka Sion Nusak, CEO)

Keka Sion Nusak supports the development of high-quality products through education and capacity building of coconut farmers and copra(dried coconut flesh) producers, and directly supports the sales of non-middle merchants to improve farmers profit structure.


5. Pitria Wedinish (Lawe, business unit manager)

Lawe is a community-based social enterprise that redeveloped and sold handmade products used by women as modern products, focusing on generating profits for women participating in the production process.


6. Rizuki Anandika (City Plan, Decision maker)

City Plan is a startup that builds system information using urban data analysis to solve urban problems. Real-time data is used to provide more accurate, effective, and efficient solutions to reflect them in urban planning in various public and private sectors.


7. Dewey Cinta (Bandung Creative City Forum, the secretary general)

The Bandung Creative City Forum(BCCF) aims to enhance economic potential and foster creativity for respecting cultural diversity, maintaining local ecosystems, and improving civil society welfare.
